For some reason I like a very light shift knob.  I know the heavy ones help you shift faster, but they also damage your transmission over time.  I like the feel of a light shift knob.  I developed this one for my own personal use in my race car.  Simple design, black, round.  What else do you need?  I decided to go with a hard plastic known as Delrin, commonly used in suspension bushings, because it does not react to temperature like aluminum.  On hot days the shift knob is cool to the touch, on cold days the shift knob is cool to the touch.
